Colour Therapy: a Pinch of Pinkalicious!

 

You will never be able to tell me that I do not have a one-track mind. First, I shared with you last week my “pinked-out” childhood rebellion and now… well now I am erecting a visual (and virtual) shrine to the colour of bubble gum and cotton candy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In small doses or in bold strokes, pink is a colour able to permeate any style or era. Seen lately in neon shades (which I display on my person at least once or twice weekly), I have grown to also appreciate the more subdued shades of pink.

 

 

Damask & Dentelle office update: Now… for those of you whom read the blogpost on my “I’ve got to finally decorate my office” meltdown, you will be happy to know that it is going great! I am soon to unveil my new and improved workspace and give you the first look. In the meantime, as a hint, let e just say that the little red I had already will be drowning in a sea of? You guessed it… pink & orange!! You can get the girl an office, but you can never take the orange (and pink) out of the girl.  Will that preclude me from no

    Bonjour Vanessa!

    Moi, le rose, c’est non! Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais c’est une couleur qui ne m’attire absolument pas: ni en déco ni en mode! A moins que l’accent déco soit vraiment minime. J’ai toujours trouvé que le rose me faisait penser au ‘Pepto Bismol’… bizzare hein? Mais je peux comprendre que les petites filles aiment cette couleur, ça fait princesse et féminin.

    Est-ce que tu penses que les hommes aiment la décoration en teinte de rose? :-)

    Beaucoup d’hommes osent le rose… en touches distinctes, en accent ou en jet de peinture choisi. Je dirais que c’est toutefois un rose flou ou fuchsia.
