I don’t think there is any right season to be in a colourful and Navajo inspired mood. That being said, Spring seems to attract more of these items into stores. Here are a few of my coveted items.

I have been coveting, no wait the word is not strong enough, lusting over the Tom Dixon copper shade for years now. But, as much as I am a compulsive buyer when it comes to everything decor related, I have been holding back on this suspension until I find the perfect place for them. I imagine a reading or dining area with 3 (or mabye 5) of them clustered and hung at slightly different height for interest. Oh well, isn’t this a nice way to kick off the week? Can’t hurt right? :o)

Anybody who’s ever seen my wardrobe will attest to the fact that I own an insane amount of striped nautical sweaters, khaki pants and nude makeup & shoes. What can I say… I am a creature of habits. No surprise then that I am all over this Spring’s Nautical trend. In order to jazz up a true classic, I like to add to the mix an unpredictable element namely the Serge Mouille Three Arms lamp or a cool cotton Dhurrie Rug.

This Spring, I am all about the Bohemian Chic trend.. chic being the keyword here. Because, I don’t know if I am doing projection here, but I cannot stand a minute longer of the lingering snow in my yard. I can still feel the “ghost” shovel in my hands. Enough! A woman needs some Spring-like weather and wishes.

I feel like bohemian dresses but with a tailored edge. Same goes for the Phillip Lim satchel that reminds me somewhat of the famous Celine bag that I have been lusting over for years now. I am also coveting this incredible mercury glass mirror from Ethan Allen to go in my foyer. The pouf is for the children’s room to put around their craft table and the turquoise lamp is for my hubby’s nightstand so he can actually see something when reading at night. On my side, I have a Jonathan Adler Carnaby Scales lamp that will go beautifully with this Layla Grace number.
