Giving Thanks

A modern country table setting with a relaxed and welcoming feel

 

Between sea and sky, and all over America, today is a day for giving thanks. Whether today is Thanksgiving in your part of the world or not … the overzealous joy this holiday carries, even across borders, is contagious.

 

Who said Thanksgiving had to be all about cornucopia table centerpieces?

 

I came across these images of Shanna LeRoy on House of Turquoise’s blog yesterday and I immediately looked for a reason, sooner than Christmas, to dress my table in such a lovely way.

 

 

The coastal and cool colours are refreshing at this time of year and can be as appropriate in either a beach house or a winter city home. The attention to details is flawless. But it is the reclaimed, recycled, and repurposed elements spread throughout the home that really make it for me.
